Was out mobile thid morning, and heavy winds mentm only the imax was put up.
Its been a while since i was on the mountain,, so was great to hear so many friends,

Hello DX'rs,
The sad time of the year is fast approaching 2 div. As we prepare to sink into another 10 months of no or little international DX.
Comparing this summer to last summer '08, this summer we have had fewer total days of DX and shorter international openings. Did not think it could have been worse, but it has been. I would be very surprised to hear any international DX this fall, but we will see.
Keeping my finger crossed, 73's all

to be honested john it hasnt been a good summer but we have had the normal eu dx and allso the 2 div comeing in ths summertime here , i just hope the winter dx gets better then what it is now ,were passed the bottom of cycle and on the way up can only get better i hope ?

Called out today,, no luck , while on the way to work and home.
Was hearing, 1,14,21,and 30 only.
Heard 1 division at 06.30 this morning,
Some big signals from 21, 9+ , for a few minutes, then gone again on the way home.

No contact's. but at dinner time, some of the 14 division stations where 9+10,
On the way home swl'ed 332at112 5/5 who was calling south America.

only had a couple of contacts today into spain ,russia and slovenia just listning to 3div calling on 555 and a local uk station going back to him asking the 30div to go to 585 ?

I was static mobile this morning. The taxi Olgas were strong on FM but not much activity on the triple.
I first worked with the j-pole but the signals were bad, then changed to the delta loop and signals improved 5 s-units !
